Old projects give new inspiration

Old Applications

Lost a bit of inspiration and motivation. Went back through my own work I had been doing, and found one of my old application design I made. Its what I want my application to look like and so I will use this as inspiration. I have started over again and gone back to the basics, while looking at my market research. 

Brain Block!

Lack of motivation and inspiration have discouraged me and I feel like giving up on carrying on with the last sketch I did previous. Even through its close to the deadline I still feel it isn't what I planed to look like or what it to be. Stress is getting to me and I'm running out of time to do something FAST. 

I'm losing confidence and the ability to come up with something great in a lack of time.

Why did I hate my sketches what has changed? It doesn't look professional, and cant seen to come up with a solution to fix it. The whole design needed to be re-thought!.

Even though theses sketches haven't gone to plan It helped to get a fresh look on the design I wanted, and how to make things look a bit more professional. I need something to give me motivation?

Problems

I have been struggling to try and be fixed on a final idea, which I don't recommend at the stage in the project. Due to a three week extension I have 6 weeks left to produce something and its looking glum. However I have been experimenting on other tools as-well as the ones I have labelled on the first proposal. I have gained a few ideas and experience while doing so and that has given me more focus and confidence within the project.  

I only have 6 weeks left and so have decided that it is not enough time to create a working html app/web. this will only be a prototype of the idea. It would have been better showing the working product but I don't feel comfortable or experienced enough to do it in the time frame I have left. 

I thought a task list may help with the process and so have created one for next week.

Task list:

• look for current and modern web designs or apps

• chose between doing app or a web

• plan the layout of the app/web

• ask peers on advice of color scheme and design. 

• CREATE IT in photoshop

DEFCON 4! I REPEAT DEFCON 4!!

HELP!

Servers went down for 3 weeks and so that has given my brain a chance to think! I have now bounced ideas back and forth and have decided to change my Initial idea from creating a FAQ website for gamers to a review website.

This is becoming Stressful!

However it can't be all that bad, can it? Since changing my idea I have Come up with some research and have concluded that I want to create a Web/App that I would like to see in the market. There a many Review Websites out there but most of them I have seen, have one spercific topic/theme. so to make mine unique I want to see a social and constant news feed of reviews, as-well as being able to see trailers of upcoming films/games ect ect...

I hope I stick with this!

First Idea! + Proposal

I plan to produce a website or some sort of web app that can be used and look professional. I Will take a couple of weeks and bounce a few ideas around in order to plan and decide on what my website/app will include.

I plan on doing a mock-up of the site in photoshop and then hopefully produce it with HTML.

For the current stage I'm researching some web pages and interests in order to look at the presentation of sites related to my theme. I hope to have a final idea of the theme by next week. 

Plan for the next week:

My main theme for my project is to create a FAQS website for gamers. I will research current website and other media tools in order to determine what I need to show.
