conclusion

This project didn’t go to plan and because of this I lost time on the project. I was unable to make a fully working product and only a prototype. However despite this is thought the design came off well and touched on all the points I said in my market research. I do not recommend switching ideas late into the project. For next time I plan on doing a project that will include me having to do user testing and touch a larger audience rather than just myself.  

If I come back to it I would change

This is only the idea and the design for what I hope it will look like when it is fully developed in the future. Since I only designed this for myself if I wanted to expand my audience I would have to user test it. Maybe create this as an application for phone/tablet users. I could change this into Netflix/steam where you are able to buy/watch the products for a fee. This would also increase the market and so I will have to do user testing in order to make it a working and viable product.

A web app prototype in photoshop

I plan on creating a protype application in photoshop based on previous inspiration. I will be sketching and producing something that could be realistic.

Old projects give new inspiration

Old Applications

Lost a bit of inspiration and motivation. Went back through my own work I had been doing, and found one of my old application design I made. Its what I want my application to look like and so I will use this as inspiration. I have started over again and gone back to the basics, while looking at my market research. 

Brain Block!

Lack of motivation and inspiration have discouraged me and I feel like giving up on carrying on with the last sketch I did previous. Even through its close to the deadline I still feel it isn't what I planed to look like or what it to be. Stress is getting to me and I'm running out of time to do something FAST. 

I'm losing confidence and the ability to come up with something great in a lack of time.

Why did I hate my sketches what has changed? It doesn't look professional, and cant seen to come up with a solution to fix it. The whole design needed to be re-thought!.

Even though theses sketches haven't gone to plan It helped to get a fresh look on the design I wanted, and how to make things look a bit more professional. I need something to give me motivation?

Problems

I have been struggling to try and be fixed on a final idea, which I don't recommend at the stage in the project. Due to a three week extension I have 6 weeks left to produce something and its looking glum. However I have been experimenting on other tools as-well as the ones I have labelled on the first proposal. I have gained a few ideas and experience while doing so and that has given me more focus and confidence within the project.  

I only have 6 weeks left and so have decided that it is not enough time to create a working html app/web. this will only be a prototype of the idea. It would have been better showing the working product but I don't feel comfortable or experienced enough to do it in the time frame I have left. 

I thought a task list may help with the process and so have created one for next week.

Task list:

• look for current and modern web designs or apps

• chose between doing app or a web

• plan the layout of the app/web

• ask peers on advice of color scheme and design.
